The day's got off to a horrible start and I'm so sure it'll turn out to be worse. I can feel it in my bones.

I hereby declare myself in the midst of a bank-threatening financial decline.

Despite this, I couldn't help but jump onto the holga bandwagon! Come Friday I will be the snaphappy owner of a Holga 120CFN. Yes, it's time to put the fun back into photography. Can't wait to play around with it and see how my first roll turns out.

To you dumb programming people without any sense of aesthetic:
Leave the designer alone for more than an hour at a time, PLEASE!

What's productive?

The holidays have been full of coffee, early mornings, funny musings and good books. Many old CD's and mixes have also been dug up, in particular Bright Eyes. I swear Conor's quivering, melancholic voice sends me shivers every time.

So instead of spending time wisely (like my parents would have hoped), it would appear that I have squandered it on movie after movie, game after game, and other leisurely et ceteras. The only thing remotely productive to my credit is a half-hearted attempt to learn the ways of a school DJ - i.e. witless conversation about this movie season, more celebrity gossip than I could care for, preppy music, plenty of buttons to push, and so much more. Productivity? Maybe.

School starts in 3 weeks. I haven't decided if I should just scrape through it with minimal effort or actually work hard so I can get into the elite group of Grade Z smug bastards.
